(idea) first explain what your idea is. How did you get the idea and how did it evolve?
My idea was to have a monkey, many colors, and a forest. I got this idea from a few different pictures Mrs. Garrity printed out for me to choose which one I liked best. It evolved because it has many more colors than I was going to use, I used a black sharpie to do outlines at first I never thought about doing so. It came out way better than I expected it to.
Inspirations from life experiences? Another work?
One time when I was younger it was my birthday, so we went to an aquarium that had fish, turtles, jellyfish and penguins. and there was also a zoo with many more animals like monkeys, gorillias, zebras, tigers, white tigers, lions, birds, scaled creatures and butterflies. There's no other work.
(process) explain your process. What tools and techniques did you use?
I used my imagination, paint, paint markers, pencils, a black sharpie, different colors and a medium sized canvas. I started out with just a sketch and outline of the painting, then I picked out the colors I needed, and I started working, then I set it on my shelf to dry, and then kept working on it until I was finished. Then I turned it in, and signed my name on it.
