IDEA)The Idea for sunset was me and my girlfriend named Chelsea sitting on a hill, while the sun was going down.  The inspiration was a life experience was us being a happy couple sitting on the hill with a sunset happening and talking about our future.

(PROCESS) My process was drawing the outline of the sketch body, and then darkening those lines into perfect lines. After darkening the lines I would then do the facial features on both of our faces. After the facial features, I did the background, when the background was done I started doing the first coat of coloring and slowly colored until my drawing looked done and nice.

(SYMBOLISM & ICONOGRAPHY) This artwork means a lot to me because it was my first picture drawing after last year.  This drawing was about me and my girlfriend being super happy like we still are and sitting on a hill with the sun going down and creating a beautiful sunset. I want people to know that if u have a rough and hard time u can get through it and u will be able to work it if u have a strong bond and good communication,

(ARTISTIC GROWTH)  One of the hardest things for me with this drawing was deciding if I wanted to keep the original picture.  Another difficult thing was the facial features and trying to draw the eyes.  I overcame the struggles by watching some videos and having my art teacher help me by showing me some tricks. What I would change is the face and body height and try to make them look a lot better than squished.

(VISUAL VOICE) Sunset is a colored drawing. Sunset is a real drawing that happened with me and a girl named Chelsea Kunde and were still together that day. Sunset is a unique drawing for me because I never do people or animals I usually do my own mixed weird art that comes to my mind. What I like about Sunset is it took me out of my comfort zone and it made me become a better drawer and actually try.
