My idea for this drawing was to have multiple designs while still supporting the theme of "It's a great day to be a Saber". The school mascot inspired me to use paw prints as one of my designs. To make this piece I started by dividing the paper into spaces, making sure the spaces were not perfectly even to give the artwork more character. Next, I started drawing all the patterns and writing the word "SABERS" at the bottom. There is nothing symbolic in my piece but I want my audience to think about what it means to be a Saber when they look at my piece. The most difficult thing I experienced when creating this was the sections with the bubbles because they took a lot of patience to create. It was also hard to keep them similar sizes but I stayed patient and kept making them. If I were to start over I would make some of my lines darker so they all are the same shade. This piece is non-objective and unique to me because I created all the designs and love how they flow together.
Hello! My name is Dalani Beuthien and I am in the 11th grade. I would describe myself as a fun bubbly person. I enjoy making art of all types and have showcased it in my art portfolio. With me right now I have my new and improved logo for my portfolio. I wanted to create something that reflected my style of art, simple yet detailed. Flowers represent simplicity and the neutral colors represent calmness. I hope my logo inspires you to take a look at my art work.
My idea for this project was to create a piece that represented what I am passionate about. I am very passionate about agriculture, so I wanted to make a cow. To make this piece I first had to choose my picture. I wanted to choose something that didn't have too much detail. Next, I needed to start making all my words I used the pen path tool and many layers. I found it difficult to get the words to fit perfectly in the space. I also found it difficult to find a lot of words that weren't the same. My image has symbolic imagery. If I started over I would choose a simpler image. When I picked this image I thought it would be easy but that was not the case and it took me a long time to finish. This art is graphic design and my favorite part about it is the nose because all the words fit perfectly.
My idea for this project was to create a collage of photos as a tribute to Taylor Swift. I got this idea because many of the other people I wanted to make a tribute to didn't have any photos that were not copyrighted. To make this I had to start by choosing a background and all my photos. Next, I had to play around with the tools and figure out how to remove the background and change the saturation and brightness. There is no symbolic imagery in this piece. The most difficult part of this was finding photos that were not copyrighted. To overcome this I had to look up many different things until I found photos. I love how bright this piece is and how all the pictures are blurry except for the main one in the middle.
My idea for this project was to create a piece that represented me. To make this I had to replace all of the spots on the cow with something that represented me. Next I added a background and blurred out the cow a little bit. The most difficult part of this project was getting the images to fit and look good in the space as well as trying to pick images that represented me.
