Brayden Lawrence " feild goal post "
1x1.5 inches - Modeling Clay, Paint - 2026
My idea with this was to make a field goal post with a ball flying through the uprights i wanted to do this because i like football and i thought that this would be a cool and fun thing to do. First we had to get all of the air bubbles out of the clay and once we did that we sculpted what we wanted to do then once whe had our clay sculpeded we painted them and then we were done. The symbolism that this artwork show that i like football and that i like the game and it shows the love for the game. the most difficult thing for me was geting paint in the small crevases but other than that it was pretty easy. this is realistic because this could be recreated in real life and it also shows that i like the game of football.

5x2 inches - Clay and glaze - 2026
My idea for this project was to make a good looking bowl that you could use normally but it still looks cool. first we got out the air bubles then we rolled out a slab of clay and then we put a design in it after that we put it in the little rings and then dropped it and it mad it into a bowl after that it got fired in the kiln and then we glazed it. the most difficult part was to make it look good wich faild but i tried at least. the stytle of art for this was abstract because it dosent look like a normal bowl but it still works like one.

My idea for this project was to make a nice bowl that looks good and works good. first we molded are clay into a a slab and picked a design to roll onto it but then we put put it on the rings and dropped it and put it into a bowl shape then we fired it and glazed it and then we were done. the hardest part for me was thinking of what glaze to put on it. this style of art is abstract because it has colors and is a bowl.

9x5 - Clay and glaze - 2026
My idea for this was to make a pitcher that looked good and was something that worked. wwe made this be rolling out a slab and carving the shape then we conected each end of the slab together and then we put a bottom and then fired it then we glazed it. this artwork symbolises hard work for working through the struggles of makeingin it. i struggled with getting the handle on the most. this artwork is realistic because it is bassacly a normal pitcher just looks a little worse.
Brayden Lawrence Clay and glaze - 2026
My idea for this project was to combine sports because i like them by making a bowl that looks like a baseball. To make this, I pressed balls into a bowl mold and then added extra clay on the sides to look like the laces of a baseball. I chose a white glaze for the inside and a reddish-brown glaze for the outside and the laces to make it look realistic. The hardest part was getting the laces to stick and look even. This art is cool because it shows something I like in a different way.
The Black bowl
3x 4 Brayden Lawrence Clay and glaze - 2026
For this project, I wanted to make a bowl that was normal but looked good. I focused on making the rim wide and flat so it would stand out while i was makeing it on the weel . I chose a dark, shiny black glaze because I wanted it to look smooth and cool. The hardest part was making sure the inside was deep enough without making the walls too thin. This piece is abstract because it’s simple but has a very strong shape and a dark, reflective color.
The Earthy Blue Bowl
4x2 Brayden Lawrence Clay and glaze - 2026
My goal for this piece was to experiment with how different glazes mix together. I made a rounded bowl and used a mix of earthy brown and blue glazes. When it fired, the colors blended together to look like water at the bottom of a canyon. The hardest part was waiting to see how the colors would actually turn out after being in the kiln. This art is unique because the way the colors melted together created a pattern that you can't really plan perfectly.
3x3 Brayden Lawrence Clay and glaze - 2026
In this project, I wanted to make a taller, thicker bowl that felt natural. I used a green and tan glaze that looks like forest colors. I made the walls thick so it is strong when you pick it up. The hardest part was getting the glaze to cover the textured outside evenly so you could still see the shape of the clay. This piece is abstract because the colors and the rough texture make it look like something you would find outside in nature.
1x2 Brayden Lawrence Clay and glaze - 2026
For this piece, I wanted to make a small sculpture instead of something you use for food for my choice project . I hand-modeled the clay into a small football shape and carefully added tiny laces across the top. I used a dark brown glaze to give it a leather look. The hardest part was working with such a small piece of clay and keeping the shape from getting squashed while I added the details. This piece is interesting because it’s a small version of a big object.
The jumping frog

For this project we wanted to make a frog and a alligator the frog would be jumping on lily pads and the alligator would be chaseing the frog we made the frog and the alligator with oragami. the hardest part was makeing the frog becase it was a lot of folding and the paper wasnt folding well. this peice is interesting because it turns pictures into a movie.
