It has always been a dream of mine to hunt an Elk. Ive hunted In my life and I think hunting for an Elk would be the best experiences they live in really cool places. I first found a picture on the internet that I thought looked good and printed it out. I then had to paint the background I tried my best to make it look like the picture it's pretty close I then traced it onto this canvas where I began looking for the right colors to paint. Some people don't know what an elk looks like they are pretty big animals with these massive antlers. The most difficult part of this painting was trying to trace the elk when I traced it onto the canvas it didn't look like the picture but I tried my best to fix it. The antlers were also a struggle because only one was in the picture, and I had to draw the other half. If I were able to do this again I would take my time and try and make it look perfect I think I rushed it a little bit. What I love about it is it actually looks like an elk.
