This would go in the narrative theme. This painting is a picture that I found online and added parts and took parts out. I added the lighthouse because I felt like the painting needed a focal point, also because in Florida we stay on a naval base and there is a light house and we climb it every year that we go. I go to Florida a lot so this is really a part of me and brings back a lot of good memories. The lighthouse resents the work and effort that it takes to get to the top. If I were to start over I would want to ix the white streaks in the background because when I did them I thought it would look cool but now I really don’t like them that much. I really love the grass and the lighthouse.
This painting fits the identify theme because Kathryn has a really big part in my life, she has been there for me since I moved here in 7th grade. This shows that she is always there for me and she was the first friend I had when I moved here due to soccer. If I were to start over I would change the way the hour looks on myself and the number “3” on Kathryn’s shirt because It doesn’t seem right. I really love the way my face turned out and the shading of all the skin.
This painting is for my Mom because she has a very strong love for goats. I came up with this idea when trying to think of mother’s day gifts to get her, this one sparked because she really loves my painting. I wish that I could fix the way the body looks; I wish it wasn’t so yellow still. I really like the way the background and the board turned out. This was a challenging thing for me because it had to look 3D. The name of the painting is Abby because this is my mom’s favorite goat and that is her name.
