First explain what your idea is. How did you get the idea and how did it evolve? Inspirations from life experiences? Another Artwork? I originally made one awhile back like 4th grade and i decided i wanted to remake it so i did in my opinion it came out better but the glove attached to the fore are part can be reworked a bit more. Explain your process. What tools and techniques did you use? I started with a cardboard ring from a roll of tape and wrapped cardboard around it then taped it together for the fore arm i then used a plastic glove for a base of the hand and attached it i also made the stones from clay that was put in the kiln afterwards painted, I then used mini pieces of cardboard to wrap around my fingers had to make sure they wernt to tight or i wouldnt be able to put on the glove and used a paper towel for the palm so i can move it more. What does the artwork mean? What do you want your audience to think about? Is there any symbolic imagery in the work? There's not really much for it to mean it's just a reference to Thanos from marvel. What was most difficult for you? How did you overcome the struggles? What would you change if you started over? The hand itself making a hand while wearing it i then only had my right hand to work on it unless i took it off so it was awkward. What style of art is this? (Realistic, Abstract, Surreal, Non-Objective?). What makes it unique to your own personal style? What do you love about it? Reference. Its unique to me because i didnt want to buy like a 2000$ replica of it so i made one instead
First explain what your idea is. How did you get the idea and how did it evolve? Inspirations from life experiences? Another Artwork? The idea was a water picher, it when from a flat piece of caly into a picher, i didnt really have insperation. Explain your process. What tools and techniques did you use? Started with using the prepping the clay and removing most of the air bubbles then using a template for the shape of the walls of it, I then made the base and sealed everything together and made sure it looked pretty and put it on the shelf to go into the kiln Once done i glazed it with 3 layers of glaze and back into the kiln it went When i got it back it looked nice and smooth. What does the artwork mean? What do you want your audience to think about? Is there any symbolic imagery in the work? It doesnt have a meaning, and i dont really have a reason for the audience to think about it its just a water picher, and no this is no symbolic reason just a water picher. What was most difficult for you? How did you overcome the struggles? What would you change if you started over? Sealing the inside was the hardest for me but managed to over come it if i had to restart it i would reshape the handle part because its hard to hold it. What style of art is this? What makes it unique to your own personal style? What do you love about it? The style of art is pottery, i didnt have an objective for it i find it unique to me because the color and pattern i used i chose the color because i liked the color the pattern was too add more of a design to it
Brayden Hippen "CHIP BOWL!!!"
1ft wide ½ ft tall, october, 2025
(IDEA) First explain what your idea is. How did you get the idea and how did it evolve? Inspirations from life experiences? Another Artwork?
My idea was to have one bowl for chips and the tinyer bowl for a dipping sauce i got the idea because most bowls dont have that or you use a whole container and cross contaminate the sauce with different flavors of chips
(PROCESS) Explain your process. What tools and techniques did you use?
Started with prepping the clay to remove the bubbles like with the last project and used a coconut shell as a mold for the bigger bowl I then made it look pretty before making the tinier bowl i used a foam ring with some clay i removed most of the bubbles I then made sure they were both pretty and connected them to put in the kiln Once done i glazed them with 3 layers of glaze then back into the kiln

(IDEA) First explain what your idea is. How did you get the idea and how did it evolve? Inspirations from life experiences? Another Artwork?
I wanted to make grapes because my mom likes decoration her kitchen with grapes
(PROCESS) Explain your process. What tools and techniques did you use?
Started with me making a bunch of balled clay and 2 leafs and molded a plate to put them together I then painted it it was hard to keep the colors from touching each other At this point i was pretty much done with it (i never took any pictures of my sketches that i saved)
(SYMBOLISM & ICONOGRAPHY) What does the artwork mean? What do you want your audience to think about? Is there any symbolic imagery in the work?
Its doesnt really have a meaning
(ARTISTIC GROWTH) What was most difficult for you? How did you overcome the struggles? What would you change if you started over?
The more difficult part of it was painting it without getting any of the white on the purple and any of the purple on the white
I would make the grapes and the plate separate and then glue then together
(VISUAL VOICE) What style of art is this? (Realistic, Abstract, Surreal, Non-Objective?). What makes it unique to your own personal style? What do you love about it?
Its a magnet its personal because my mom loves grapes
