“The American Bear”

Bear Head Mold, Horse Ear Moiled, Plaster, Acrylic Paint, Screen, Hot Glue
The source that inspired me was animals and the American flag. I pick a moiled, I put plaster on the moiled, I pick a horse moiled for the ears, I used the horse ear on the bear moiled, I painted it using red, blue, white, brown, pink, I hot glued screen over the eyes. I try to fix my mistake the best I could. I learned that the paint dries very fast and that you don’t need a lot of it. I like the most about my work is how it look together and how the colors went together.I would change the ears to like horns.

"Sunset Lake"

My inspiration was like the mountains, sunset and also a lake.
I had to draw it big with not a lot of small details. Next, I had to outline it in hot glue. Then I had to color it with oil pastels and had to crack it. Also, I had to paint it with watercolor paint and resent off.
I solved my problems by keep trying and don’t give up.
Something new I tried was blending colors together that looked good.
I like the water color and sunset color mixed together.
I would change the tree that is on the side and I would remove it.
Abstracted Face Artist Statement

“Home plate man”

I was inspired by baseball the home plate.
I made a shape like the home plate in baseball for the head, Then I made a nose, eyes, and a mouth. Next, I had to slip the put the stuff on the face, Last, I added texture to the nose and face.
I had to slip the eyes again because they did not stay on well.
A creative risk I took was I pick random colors and it turned out good.
I like the summer mango color on the face and also how the colors are like smooth.
I would change the eyes shape to more like a circle shape.

“Man Cave”

My inspiration was trying to make it look like my basement room.
My process was I drew what look like my basement and add more stuff. Then I drew all the stuff the went to the vanishing point and then I added shades of light and dark.
I kept trying and trying to drew it perfect.
A creative risk I took was I add different shapes to the floor the made it look better than just a white floor.
I like how I drew the chair and the TV on the wall.
I would change the placement of the fringe.
