What is the style of your painting (Abstract, realism, surreal) ? Surreal
What symbolism or iconography can you identify? My painting portrays famous hip-hop artist Mac Miller, chilling high up in the clouds. The reason I chose to paint this is because it represents Macs album “Swimming”, the last album he released before he died. “Jet Fuel” is the name of one of my favorite songs on his album, and ironically you can see that in his album cover he’s sitting in what looks to be a very dark jet. RIP Mac Miller
What would you change if you started over? If I started over, I would change the sun and pick a different color yellow, probably a brighter yellow to make the painting pop more.
What do you love about it? I love the clouds, I tried really hard on them and they were perfect.

What is the style of your painting (Abstract, realism, surreal) ? Realism
What symbolism or iconography can you identify? My painting portrays a leading figure in emo music. Professionally known as Lil Peep, this icon is someone I have always related to and enjoyed their music.
What would you change if you started over? If I were to change anything about this painting, I would have liked if his tattoos showed through better.
What do you love about it? I love the colors I used to paint Peep; they do a good job showing the emotion of him.
“Title”: Mothers Love

What is the style of your painting (Abstract, realism, surreal) ? Realism
What symbolism or iconography can you identify? In my painting it’s easy to spot the mother flamingo and the baby flamingo because of the size difference. However, the mother is seen as loving and protective while the baby is standing under her mom. Giving the illusion of a mother and child’s bond.
What would you change if you started over? If I were to change anything on this painting, I would change the color of the birds to a pinker color.
What do you love about it? I added in these random hearts just painted on the momma and baby birds’ chests, I thought that was a cute touch.
