My name is Tonya Melton . I am a graduate of Cannon  County High School.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education at MTSU.  I have 33 years of teaching experience in Cannon County, twenty-six of those years were at Short Mountain Elementary while the other years were at Woodbury Grammar School and Cannon South Elementary. Over the years, I have taught grades 2nd -8th with a concentration in Reading and Social Studies.   

One of my favorite things to do is travel.  I also enjoy gardening, lots of outdoor activities, watching sporting events, concerts,  and spending time with family and friends.
