Hello, my name is Zachary Makuch. This is my third year at Copenhagen. I will be teaching Global 9 and Global 10.Also this year I will be teaching Genocide Studies. Previously I taught at South Lewis Central School as their Social Studies AIS teacher and I also taught three STEM courses there as well. While at South Lewis I coached Football and assisted with Varsity Wrestling. I graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with my BA/MST in History/Secondary Education.
Mr. Makuch's Goals:
~ Students will leave my classroom with a better understanding of themselves and how history impacts us.
~Students will learn to use historical thinking and technology to express their opinions and ideas.
~ Students will be able to participate within a safe and encouraging learning environment.
