Mrs. Hovendon

Welcome to Art 8 - 12!

Virginia Hovendon is a secondary art teacher at Copenhagen Central School as well as an adjunct instructor at Jefferson Community College.  She has a Bachelor of Arts from Wells College where she graduated with a major in Art and a minor in Math. She also has a Master of Science from Syracuse University in Art Education.  She was the director of the Central New York Scholastic Art Show for the 5 years and she is also a member of the Tri-County Art Teacher’s Association.  As passionate as she is about teaching, she is also passionate about creating work of her own.  Mrs. Hovendon is a member of the gallery Fibonacci 321 in Watertown, NY where she exhibits drawings paintings and ceramic work.
