I was born and raised in nearby Carthage and graduated in 2012. I received my Bachelor's degree in Speech & Hearing Science from SUNY Cortland before pursuing education and recieving my Masters of Science for Teachers (M.S.T.) degree from SUNY Potsdam. I started substitute teaching at CCS in 2021 and fell in love with the school and community. Now, I'm a Special Education teacher here, having received my Students with Disabilities certification through SUNY Empire. I currently live in Lowville with my husband and our daughter along with our cat, Ducky and dog, Goose.
