Intermediate Mathematics

This course is designed to give students a firm foundation in mathematical concepts needed to prepare for the rigor of the Algebra 2 or College Algebra classroom .

College Algebra focuses on the concept of a function by exploring several types of functions.   The various functions covered in this course include: linear functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, quadratic functions, and polynomial functions.

Students enrolled in Intermediate Mathematics will not cover the entire curriculum that is expected for the College Algebra classroom and will not be able to earn any college credit.  We will follow the same syllabus.  If we do not cover 100% of the material on the syllabus, we will cover as much as we can.  Here is a copy of the College Algebra Syllabus.
