Frustrated by seeing your assignments all listed as points, instead of a quick glance at percentages? Did you know that you can view all assignments as percentages? Just click on the three dots by the assignment title in your grade book, select “Enter Grades as”, and select percentage. You can switch back at any time. Here’s a visual:
See Student Averages Quickly in Gradebook:
Frustrated by scrolling all. . . the . . . way. . . to the right to see student averages in your class? Melanie pointed out a while ago to us this handy trick, and we may want a refresher on it. You can move your student averages to the column right by the student names! Just go to the averages column, click on the three dots, and select “Move to front”. Voila! A grade summary immediately adjacent to each student’s name, on the left end of your grade book, where, in my opinion, it actually makes sense for it to be. Here’s a visual:
