Each September, TSA officers gather in Clayton, GA for our annual officer retreat. This weekend is filled with team-building, fun activities, Program of Work planning, and more. The cost for this event is $190 (all inclusive).
In October, we go to Perry, GA for the Georgia National Fair. This event hosts our Fall Rally as well as several competitions including Alternative Energy, Gravity Car, Manufacturing Prototype, Conceptual Design, Structural Design, Program Promotion, Architectural Design, and Pin Design. The cost for this is $35 for registration, $25 ride arm band (optional), and money for food.
This is a new event for Georgia TSA. Students will gather for a fun day at Six Flags for a rally and day of fun. There are 5 competitions submitted prior to this event - Promotional Brochure, Chapter T-shirt, Safety Poster, Elevator Speech, and Program of Work Presentation. The cost for this event is $85 + food.
In November, we travel to Jekyll Island for our Fall Leadership Conference. This conference focuses on building leadership and technical skills for a stronger chapter. There are also competitions including the Armada Boat Race, Sandcastle Challenge, and Island Film Contest. The cost for this event is $105 (registration) plus hotel and food.
Our biggest event happens in March when we travel to Athens, GA to compete in many different events. Competitions range from Architectural Design, Children's Stories, Coding, Animatronics, Webmaster, Transportation Modeling, Forensic Science, Fashion Design, and more! The cost for this event is $115 (registration) plus hotel and food.
The top state competitors have the chance to attend the National TSA conference in the summer. The location changes each year with the 2025 conference being held in Nashville, TN. Cost to be determined.
