Pep Band

Pep Band

The Pep Band provides music at home football and basketball games as well as state tournaments. Music prepared by the pep band is typically in Rock, Jazz, Latin and Pop styles. This provides a great opportunity to learn musical skills in these different types of music. The entire Marching Band serves as the “Pep Band” during the football season. During the basketball season, the Symphonic Band, Concert Band and percussion class will be organized into smaller groups to serve the function of the pep band. This will allow fewer performances to be required of each student but also provide opportunities to experience this exciting part of a high school band program.
