Purpose
The Connetquot H4H Club was created as a fundraising club to help struggling Long Islanders achieve the dream of home ownership. We raise money in our Connetquot school community and donate the profits to Habitat for Humanity of Long Island at the end of each year.
Our original Charter Listed 4 main goals:
1. To: Raise awareness of the need for affordable housing on Long Island
2. To: Raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Long Island
3. To: Teach the worth of physical labor by building houses
4. To: Show that the need for skilled workers exists
What we've done
What we've done
The Connetquot H4H Club have raised well over a hundred and fifty thousand dollars in the past 20 years since being formed. Our club members are great kids looking to help out their local community though fundraising and working alongside Habitat for Humanity of Long Island's team of builders. Our efforts help to create opportunities for our Long Island neighbors who never dreamed homes ownership was possible.
