Hi, I’m Molly. I love learning, helping people, and getting to know people from other cultures. Those three things are combined in my job as the teacher of beginning level ESOL students. I like to teach using a lot of acting and humor. Sometimes, I make mistakes in class, and I don’t mind if students correct me. My classes are fun and friendly. I love animals, and I have a cat named Luna. If you come to my class, I will show you many pictures of her. When I’m not teaching I like to play with Luna, go hiking, and read.
Hello, I'm Martha Nukuto and I became a teacher because I could see the potential in people and I want them to achieve their goals. I started teaching sixth grade and also taught adult English language learners over 25 years ago. I love to learn about my students as much as I love to teach them. Some things you should know about me are: I have three children. My daughters are 18 and 16 and my son is 12 years old. We have lived in Chicago, Wisconsin, and Pittsburgh. So I know how hard it is to start over in a new place. When you are in my class you are part of my family.
Hello! My name is Anna, and I teach the advanced ESOL class. I love teaching ESOL, because I get to meet so many interesting people and learn about their cultures. When you come to my classroom, I try to make sure students are doing most of the talking so that they can practice their English as much as possible. I believe at this level students have a good understanding of English and now need to practice to improve. Finally, students should know these three things about me: I lived in Okinawa, Japan when I was a child; I know some Japanese, and I am still learning; and I like to eat, so please feel free to bring food!
