Mr. Moore

Hello 7th Graders!

I am Mr. Moore and I teach math and ELA. This is my 9th year teaching at Stratford and my 10th overall. Previously, I worked for a company that developed cellular infrastructure, the equipment that your cell phone uses to communicate. I also have worked in the aerospace industry.

I am a member of the Carol Stream Community, a proud graduate of our cross town rival and Glenbard North. I have 3 children, 2 go to our cross town rival and 1 is entering high school this year (Yikes). My wife and I enjoy living in the community and can often be seen at the local baseball/softball fields watching our kids play. So, if you see us out there or in the community, don't be shy, say hello!

Here are some goals I have this year:

• First and foremost is to direct, guide and assist you in learning!

• To incorporate not just subject matter lessons but life lessons!

• To be a mentor as well as a teacher!
