Project Inspiration

Courage by Bernard Waber

Day 1 - Spend some time reading aloud various books with a courage theme. Discuss how the characters in the book demonstrated courage.

Day 2 - Use strategies to get students thinking about what courage means to them. Ask students to complete the sentence starter, "Courage is..."

Day 3 - Brainstorm ideas for compiling a class project to share all students' ideas.
