This Year, CCSD93's Kindergarten Registration is a 5 Step Process

Step 1:  Watch the Important Kindergarten Registration Information Video From Your Child's School Principal (Today)

Step 2: Begin Official Registration Process (Today)

Step 3: Complete the CCSD93 Kindergarten Questionnaire (Today)

Step 4: Families of students who don't currently attend CCSD93's Early Childhood Center will be emailed instructions to complete your child's Kindergarten Registration (After March 6, 2023)

Step 5: Provide child's official county birth certificate (original or certified copy with seal) and current driver's license/state I.D. to your child's school (After completing Step 4)

Step 2: Begin Official Registration Process

There are different directions for you to register your child depending on their circumstance. Please read the following circumstances carefully and follow the correct directions.

If your family is BRAND NEW to CCSD93 and you have never had any children attend a CCSD93 school before:

If your family currently has children attending CCSD93 schools but the student who you are registering for kindergarten has not attended CCSD93's Early Childhood Center:

Step 3: Complete the CCSD93 Kindergarten Questionnaire

Visit www.ccsd93.com/kq today to answer some questions that will help us to learn a little bit more about your child as we prepare for their kindergarten experience.

Step 4: Families of Students Who Don't Currently Attend CCSD93's Early Childhood Center Will Be Emailed Instructions To Complete Your Child's Registration

Visit the school as soon as possible to provide:

Residency

Each CCSD93 student's residency is checked electronically. Most of our students are verified, and their parents don't need to do anything to prove residency. If your residency is unable to be verified electronically, you will receive a notification from CCSD93 at the phone number and email address you provided in the Kindergarten Information Form above regarding next steps.

CCSD93 Dual Language

All incoming CCSD93 kindergarten students, as well as students in higher grade levels in some circumstances, have the option to enroll in the Dual Language program. The program includes both English and Spanish-speaking students. Students in this program receive instruction in English and in Spanish, and the purpose is to develop bilingual, biliterate, and multicultural competent students.
