Information and Media Literacy, or IML for short, is a related arts class that teaches students all about how to find/use information from different types of print and media sources as well as how to use that information in a smart way. It sounds really complicated but I promise, it's not! We use a lot of technology resources in this class so it's actually pretty fun :)
IML is one of Jay Stream's related arts rotation classes. There are 5 related arts classes, sometimes called "exploratory" classes. 7th & 8th grade students rotate every trimester based on their top 3 picks; check PowerSchool to see which 3 classes your student is taking. 6th grade students rotate based on the schedule below.
