Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Mrs. Katy Kane, and I am so excited to work with you this year. This will be my fifteenth year teaching fourth grade. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and my Reading Specialist Master's Degree at Olivet Nazarene University. I grew up in Algonquin and continue to live there with my husband, my dog, my 3 year old daughter, and my 1 year old twins (boy & girl). Some things I love are teaching (of course), spending time with my family and friends, reading, traveling, and cheering on the Chicago Bears.
