We had an author of a Butterfly book come into the classroom today to speak to the students about the life cycle of a butterfly. Dr. Sally Stone visited the classroom and read her book to the students. We learned about how she takes all the pictures for her book.

Program Description
Your school is hosting a 2-week fundraiser powered by the Boosterthon! Instead of selling items, families will gather pledges to help your school, while students experience a world-class character program and participate in the Tiger Trot Fun Run. Most students will complete 30-35 laps at the Fun Run event.

This year's Boosterthon character theme is Castle Quest, an English castle theme all about bravery. Students will learn the six virtues of a "true hero" from a cast of colorful characters, as they seek to regain Bravemore Castle by completing six challenging tests. College Week
College week has been so much fun! We read in the dorm room today and drew a picture of what a dorm room looks like. The fifth grade students researched colleges and were experts in certain colleges. They made a tri-fold for different colleges and we were able to go to a college fair. Boy are some of them expensive!
