Requirements for Teaching a Professional Development Class
Please know that we begin putting the course book together mid-August for the fall book and beginning of December for the spring book. We ask that you please have class information to the Professional Development office no later than the dates above. Adequate time is necessary to approve the classes and get them in the course book.
Classes must be approved by Professional Development Steering Committee
Class Proposal Forms and a syllabus must be completed by the first Monday in September to be considered for the fall courses. It must be submitted by the last Friday in November for the spring courses.

The Professional Development Committee will review submissions for approval during the end of August for fall and December/January for spring
Upon approval notification, the course will be put in course book

Provide description, syllabus, dates and times of class to Professional Development Secretary
Approved classes will be put in the course book
Courses are listed in Professional Learning throughout the school year.
Class Information
A minimum of 10 students need to be registered in order for the class to be held - (If there are less than 10, the class may be cancelled)
Full credit classes are in 15 hour increments
Professional development classes can be in any hour increments
Items to be turned in to Professional Development
UW credit consideration – syllabus needs to be submitted 45 days prior to the first day of class (this is a requirement from the University of Wyoming)
