Meadowlark's English as a Second Language (ESL) program strives to support English language learners in becoming fully proficient in English while meeting the same academic standards expected of all students. 

The ESL program provides students with the opportunity to reach proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing as measured by the Assessing Comprehension and Communication in English State-to-State (ACCESS) assessment.  Students who are identified as ESL will be provided with extra time and support from our ESL staff to gain proficiency in these areas.
