Open up Scratch from the icon on the dock.

Close out the tutorial lesson by clicking the close x. You will also need to delete the cat character. (On the bottom you will see the cat and you just click the trash can). That is where you will add characters later on in the activity.

Bottom left hand corner of the screen in Scratch you will see a blue box with code blocks and a plus sign(Pictured to the right) click that. It should pull up a window of new codes.

Find the Makey Makey and click on it! This will bring the code blocks you will need in the next step of creating your code!

Let's now add a new character. We are going to upload a picture of the Makey Makey Board.

Click on this link to drag and drop the Makey Makey icon to the desktop. Drag the Makey Makey board that is pictured to the right.
Now go back into your scratch. On the bottom right hand corner you will see add a sprite (character). Click on it and click on the upload Sprite and go to desktop and pick the Makey Makey board you drug to the desktop. You now have a new character.
Now we need to add some costumes!

Click on Costumes towards the top/left of the screen.
You will now need to add 3 new costumes by clicking the cat and plus sign on the bottom left hand corner of your screen. You will need to add an orange, pencil, and button2!
