Using the supplies below, STEM groups (of 2) must design a sailing ship. The goal of this challenge is to create the fastest sailing ship. This will be measured by powering the ship by one blown up balloon. The ship that goes the furthest wins this challenge. STEM groups have three trials to create the best sailing ship design. There are no size requirements while creating your ship. Not all of the supplies have to be used in the design. Groups will have one class period to build and test your ship. We will challenge groups on the second class period.
