One person create a Google Slides presentation on the computer and share it with your partner so all of you can work on the presentation at the same time. In the Subtitle type: First and Last Names of all working on the presentation. Choose a Theme and insert a Winter Clipart. Resize the clipart if needed.

This slide you will research what continents are in the Southern and Northern Hemisphere. The continents that are in the Northern Hemisphere are currently in Winter. The Continents that are in the Southern Hemisphere are in the Summer right now.
On the LEFT side column, type the word Winter first and below it in a bulleted list, the continents that are experiencing Winter now. Change the Font Style to a Fancy Font of your choice, increase the Font Size to 18, change the Font Color to Blue. On the Right side column, list the word Summer first and below it in a bulleted list, the continents that are experiencing Summer now. Change the Font Style to a Fancy Font of your choice, increase the Font Size to 18, change the Font Color to Green. Change the Line Spacing to Double in both columns. Insert 1 Winter clipart and 1 Summer clipart. Resize the clipart if needed.
Slide Layout: Title Only - Slide Title: World's Snowiest Cities
The county which tops the list as the World's Snowiest city might surprise you! Create a Table to display the World's Snowiest Cities. Insert a Table (2 columns x 7 rows) and research the World's Snowiest cities. Type City & Country in cell 1 and type Average Yearly Snowfall in cell 2 and then complete the Table. List the 5 World's Snowiest Cities in the table with their Average Yearly Snowfall.
Center all text within the Table, change the Font Color to a Blue color of your choice and a Font Style of your choice, apply Bold to the first row and increase the Font Size of the entire Table to 18.
Merge(to merge you have to highlight the two cells and right click your mouse) the last row of the Table and insert a hyperlink as with the website used to obtain the data. Type the Text in the hyperlink as Snowiest Cities.
Insert one clipart of a Snowflake. Resize the clipart if needed and apply text wrap if needed.
Slide Layout: Title Only - Slide Title: Winter Weather Extremes
Where in the world was the coldest ever recorded temperature? Insert an outline map of the continent (place it on the right of the slide). Add a Text Box on the left of the slide listing each item on a separate line: where, the continent, temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit, and date. Apply a Blue Fill Color of your choice to the Text Box, change the Font Color to White, and increase the Line Spacing to 1.5.

Which country experienced the most snowfall in a 24-hour period? Insert an outline map of the country (place it on the left). Move the Text Box to the right of the slide listing each item on separate line: the city & country, amount of snow, and date.

The world's largest snow woman is in the Guinness Book of world records. Complete the Title of the slide by listing her height (remove XXX) after Snow Woman. Insert a WordArt to display her name. Insert a Picture of her and 3 Clipart to display 3 unique items used to make her.
Slide Layout: Title Only - Slide Title: Blizzard Conditions
According to the National Weather Service, three conditions must exist in order for a snowstorm to be considered a blizzard. Insert a clipart of each of the three conditions that must occur, along with a Text Box listing the condition. Apply Light Blue as a Fill Color to all Text Boxes. Add Animation so the first clipart displays, then the Text Box, and continue in that order for each condition. Set Animation to On Click.

There have been many movies made where winter is a major part of the movie. Create a BAR Chart in Google Slides from the data below to display some of the most popular Winter movies. Add a Chart Title as Winter Movies, add Data Labels, change the Title Text to Blue, finally copy and paste the chart onto the slide.

Click on Open Source. (This will open up a google sheet. You will put your information from the chart below into the google sheet.)
