James Walton- Class of 1997

James graduated from Burr Ridge Middle School in June of 1997, going on to have a successful High School Career at Hinsdale South, graduating Class of 2001, where he was involved in Basketball, Football, Track, and Volleyball. He graduated South as the all time leading receiver and record holder in long and triple jump. An all around athlete some might say. From there he went on to attend Truman State University on a football scholarship, graduating Class of 2006. There he became the 2004 NCAA Division II Outdoor National Champion in Long Jump, named the 2005 MIAA men’s athlete of the week, setting a school record at nationals, a four time All American in long jump for track and field, and leaving as the top five wide receiver all time statistically. After his successful collegiate career he went on to have a successful career in the Indoor Football league from 2006-2012, which he was apart of two championship seasons in 2009 and 2010, scoring 142 receiving touchdowns in his career and record holder of the most touchdowns scored in one season (year 2009). Currently he is a successful NCSA recruiter helping college athletes in their journey to success.
