Halloween is Coming to Town! Places to Visit During the Fall

It’s time to get out of your grave and embrace the spooky season! Temperatures are getting colder and Halloween is right around the corner. Whether you just want to enjoy the autumn season or explore haunted mysteries, there are many fun events during October that you can enjoy with your friends and family.
The Great Jack-o-Lantern Blaze

Where: Van Cortlandt Manor- Croton-on-Hudson, NY
When: September 17th - November 21st
Step into the eerie glow of the Jack-o-Lanterns to see a beautiful display of the pumpkin world! It is an enchanting and haunting experience to walk through the path and see different creations made out of pumpkins. Each of them are unique! Visit the pumpkin bridge and galaxy pumpkin tunnel which are signature structures of the blaze. The famous headless horseman myth of Sleepy Hollow cannot be missed in the exhibits of the pumpkins, and you can see him in the Infinite pathway, but be careful to not get lost in the pumpkin abyss.
At the end of the path, there are food venues that sell delicious
pumpkin spice donuts with cider, and you can stop to eat and enjoy the chilling music.

Dr. Davies Farm

When: Fall activities open throughout October and November
If you want to enjoy the beauty of autumn, you should stop by at Dr. Davies’ farm! Visit the market that sells fresh vegetables grown by the farm and fall desserts such as pumpkin and apple pies! And don’t miss the warm and fresh apple cider donuts. You can also hop on the hayride that takes you to a vast pumpkin field and bring a pumpkin back with you. Dr. Davies is a nice, cozy, local farm, perfect for the fall!

Myths & Mysteries Tour Octagon House
