Amulya Mandapaka, Around the Horn Editor

Interested in theater and acting? Then Cue and Curtain is the club for you! North’s theater club has been doing many productions over the past few years and now they are back into their full swing with in-person school. Meetings are held once a month where all students who share a passion for acting and theater can meet up and work on productions together.

In fact, the Cue and Curtain Fall production, November 18 and 19, is North’s first foray back to in-person drama. The theme is Lost and Found, where students have contributed original scenes and monologues that they came up with. The show features dramatic and comedic pieces that detail past experiences or moments.

If you’re really excited for these productions and are also interested in iconic musicians like Elvis Presley and the Coasters, then you’re going to want to look out for Cue and Curtain's spring musical: Smokey Joe’s Cafe, The Songs of Leiber and Stoller. Right now it's scheduled to take place on March 17, 18 and 19.
