Fall Spirit Week 2023

Spirit week at North is an exciting annual tradition that lights up the hallways with a contagious energy and enthusiasm. Throughout the week, school comes alive with a kaleidoscope of creativity as students and staff embrace daily themed dress-up days, showcasing their school spirit. The Student Council added many fun theme days, such as Barbie day and western day. Teachers and students went all out with an unwavering spirit, reinforcing the strong sense of community that defines North. 

Spirit Week Wrapped:

On Monday, students rolled out of bed in their pajamas to start the week off. Pajama day allowed students and staff to trade their usual school attire for the comfort of their favorite sleepwear. Ranging from classic flannel pants to fluffy onesies, pajama day was full of comfort and relaxation

Cristina Tyrie and Madison Anish - Seniors

On Tuesday, Barbie Day was definitely a favorite of many. Teachers and students went all out, embracing fashion, imagination and creativity. From signature pink outfits to utilizing Barbie’s diverse range of career choices, this day offered a unique opportunity for expression. Tunes Tuesday also played a variety of songs from the new Barbie movie to add on to the fun.

On Wednesday, students and staff dressed in western attire. From cowboy boots to flannels, everyone embraced the wild west. To end off the western day, there was a block party after school with games and food.

Thursday was class color wars day. Freshmen wore red, sophomores wore blue, juniors wore white, and seniors wore black.

On Friday, students came decked out in North Apparel. Purple and gold radiated from the school. To end the day, students went to the bleachers to watch the entertaining pep rally.

        Spirit Week was a dynamic and engaging week that united the school in a whirlwind of creativity and camaraderie. Pajama Day brought comfort and relaxation, while Barbie Day encouraged imaginative and stylish expressions. Western Day added an adventurous flair, and Color Wars ignited each separate grade’s spirit. The grand finale, Purple and Gold Day, unified the school in a burst of pride. This week-long event fostered a deep sense of togetherness and pride within the student body and staff. It not only showcased the diverse personalities of the students but also created memories, leaving an indelible mark on the school year.
