Our company, Sugar Lemon is run by 5 fifth graders. We started this business because of a project our dimensions teacher, Mrs. Kelley, assigned us. Her assignment was to "create" a small business. So we came together and became a team. We wanted to start off with something simple. A lemonade stand. For some time, we thought that this was just something we would work on and then move on to something else. But it did not work that way. After a few weeks, we decided we wanted to make this a small business. Mrs. Kelley said we needed something special to set us apart from other lemonade stands. We got a few ideas, but our main one was donating money to endangered animals. More specifically, turtles, sea otters, and koalas. We also have different, fun things our customers can do, such as planting your own flowers and adding flavors, candy, and fruit to your drinks.
