Kindergarten Corner

Dear Kindergarten Families,

 We are very excited to welcome you to our Strawtown kindergarten family!  We hope that you and your child are excited to join the "Kindergarten Corner", and be a part of the exciting, fun, and incredible world of Kindergarten.  We promise you that this will be a year that you and your child will cherish.  

This year will be a year of new beginnings, filled with large and small accomplishments, learning new things and making new friends.  The kindergarten world is filled from September through June with imagination, creativity, letters, numbers, stories, games, puzzles, playing, painting, play dough, singing, dancing, and most of all laughs and smiles, every single day.  It's the most magical and heartwarming place to be and we hope you will love it as much as we do!  In our classrooms, the process of learning to BE a kindergartner, learning how to do things independently, and take pride in what we do, is often more important than the product we create, and our learning world is full of "doing" activities which create these wonderful experiences.  

The Kindergarten Corner is a special place to be for both the children and families.  We greatly appreciate your support, interest, and enthusiasm, and look forward to a fun and successful school year with you and your child!
