Join the Library Birthday Book Club

Help bring new books to the library while celebrating your child's birthday!

Celebrate your child’s birthday by donating a book to the Laurel Plains Library in his/her honor.  Help us bring the excitement of new books to the library all year long! Just choose a book from the attached Wish List and send it to school during your child’s birthday month or during half-birthday months for summer birthdays*. The Birthday Book Club is a wonderful way to celebrate students and their love of reading!

 Here’s how it works:

 1. Purchase a NEW HARDCOVER book from our Wish List (click on link).

 2. Bring the book to the office - include a post-it labeled with Birthday Book Club, your child's name & birthday

 3. We will place a birthday bookplate in the book with your child’s name and year it was donated

 4. Your child’s name and book will be announced during morning announcements

 5. This book will become part of the permanent collection of Laurel Plains Library to be enjoyed by all our students!

* If your child already had a birthday, you can still bring in a book! *

Please join the families that have already contributed to our outstanding library, and be a part of a lasting legacy.
