BOOK LOANS:

Students are allowed to select new books each cycle. Book checkouts begin the first week of October and checkouts will end on the last week of May.  All library books must be returned by the final full day of school in June. 

Note:  If any book is not returned by the due date (each weekly library class), late slips will be given to students as reminders to return their checked out book.  We will hold a book that your child picked out until the outstanding book is returned. 

For Grades 1 - 5: students will be able to take out two books each cycle; though grades 1 and 2 will begin the year with one book. Books may also be renewed if a student needs more time to complete reading the book. 

For Kindergarten classes: students may check out one book each 6 day cycle and the book must be returned the following week in order to take out another book.  

FINES:

There are no fines for overdue books.  However, if a book is damaged or lost the book must be replaced.  A notification will be sent home to parents/guardians in regard to this matter.
