French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish 1

Students further develop the four language skills of listening, reading, writing, and speaking while being exposed to culture in the target language. The students acquire these skills through vocabulary topics and themes while engaging in a variety of student-centered interactive activities, projects, and presentations. Students will be able to receive 1 high school credit after successfully completing Levels 1A, 1, and the Checkpoint A final and will continue on to Level 2.
