A short bio about me:

• My family is from the Hudson Valley in Westchester.  I was born in Valhalla and spent most of my growing up years in Westchester and Indiana.

• Obtained Masters in Education from Manhattanville College in 2001

• Certifications in Special Education, Biology, Administration (Building and District)

• Teacher at Clarkstown since 2005

• Adjunct Professor in Orange county

• Advisor to Science Olympiad

My interests:

• Conservation and Rescue-my husband and I are active in animal rescue and nature conservation

• My husband and I enjoy going on Walking and Hiking Trails in the Hudson Valley.  Try the Walkway on the Hudson sometime :)

• Independent film

• Volunteering at the food pantry, homeless shelters and other local organizations in the Hudson Valley

• Taking pictures of nature as I walk and hike

• Being with my family and friends

• Scrapbooking and other Arts and Crafts

• Writing short stories

• Reading Non-fiction books and Memoirs
