My name is Kristi Fanelli and I am one of the Kindergarten Special Education Teachers here at Bardonia. I have been teaching in Bardonia for 20 years. Prior to working at Bardonia, I taught 6th and 7th grade Special Education in Westchester, which is where I currently reside . I attended elementary school in the Bronx, however, I am a graduate of Clarkstown North. I graduated from SUNY Oneonta with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and Long Island University with a Masters in Special Education. In addition, I  began a program for a Masters in Clinical School Psychology, which I hope to complete in the future.

I feel lucky to work with such amazing children and teachers. The most important thing, as well as  what makes my job as rewarding as it is, is watching the students grow, both academically and emotionally.
