         The Library Media Center uses OPALS for its online catalog system. OPALS (Open-source Automated Library System), is a Web-based, open source program providing Internet access to information databases and library collections.  Access the library catalog by clicking on the link to the left or by accessing the Library Useful Links page at the top of the screen.  OPALS allows access to the library collection where you can search by key words, titles, authors and subjects.

  When you are in OPALS, under the "OPALS Home" page link, you can view new materials added to the library catalog. You can also view new materials under the "New Items" link.  In addition, under the "Home" link, you can click on "Web Links" to access web resources for finding information/researching.  In the Web Links area OPALS lists valuable resources, and additional links that have been added by the Library Media Specialist.

Note:  You can access OPALS, Bardonia's online catalog, anywhere you have internet access.
