I am a graduate of Lee University with a degree in Elementary Education. In addition, I have endorsements in PreK/Early Childhood from Tennessee Tech University and in Special Education from the University of South Carolina. I am not only a teacher but a wife and mother. I have been married to my husband, Todd, for 34 years. We have two sons, two daughters, a daughter-in-law, and two new sons-in-law. I am a grandmother for the first time and I am thrilled! I was born in Cleveland, Tennessee but my family and I have lived in several cities in Tennessee and South Carolina. We enjoy traveling to new places. My husband and I have traveled through Alaska by train and visited beautiful glaciers. This summer, we drove to many historic sites throughout Pennsylvania. I enjoy scrapbooking, searching for treasures at thrift stores, watching Jane Austen films, and spending time with my family. I am happy to be back at home in Crossville and feel privileged to be your child's PreK teacher this year!
