Dear Fifth Grader,

My name is Ms. Sarah Davis and I am going to be your fifth grade teacher this year. This is my second year teaching at Crab Orchard Elementary. It is going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries.

This year is all about working together as a classroom family. We will be spending a lot of time together so it is important to treat one another with respect, kindness, and compassion. I know we all have a different way of thinking which means we all think and learn differently. It is my job to help you as a learner and as a person of good character.
