About me... I was raised in Cumberland and Bledsoe Counties. I graduated from Cumberland County High School in 2003, then went on to graduate with high honors from both Roane State Community College and Tennessee Technological University with a major in Secondary Education: English. This is my 17th year teaching.  I taught the first 13 years of my career in Bledsoe County, and that is where my family built our home. My husband is a math teacher here at SMHS, and our two sons (James-15 and Kody-11)  attend SMHS and Homestead Elementary. In our free time we enjoy being outdoors, camping, cooking, fishing, watching sports, and many other things. I am excited for a new year and the chance to get to know you and your student.
