3. Put First Things First (Work hard = play hard; Keep area organized)
4. Think Win-Win (Compromise; Resolve conflicts quickly, find a happy medium)
5. Seek First to Understand, then to be Understood (Listen without interrupting; Look others in the eyes when talking; T.H.I.N.K. before talking)

Every child starts on green (Ready to Learn). They receive verbal praise and rewards for following the habits. If they stay on green or move up to blue (Good Day) purple (Great Job) or pink (Outstanding), they receive a sticker on their folder. After five days of good behavior, they will pick something from the treasure box.
If they move down to yellow (Think about it), they will walk 3 minutes of their playtime. I will put a Y on the folder. If they move down to orange (Teacher's Choice), they will lose 5 minutes of playtime and I will put an O on the folder. If they move down to red (Parent Contact), they will lose 15 minutes of playtime, and I will put a R on the folder. Yellow and orange are minor offenses, but red is a major offense. Children may go directly to red for fighting, stealing, etc. Major offenses could result in losing privileges such as field trips or fun days.
