Meet the Teacher

My name is April Moore, and I look forward to learning with you. I am entering my twenty second year of teaching in the great state of Tennessee. From a very early age, I knew that I wanted to be a teacher and believe strongly that it is a calling. I love my students and the magical experience of witnessing children reach their fullest potential.

I am extremely blessed to be the mother of two wonderful children. We enjoy our lives on the farm that I've called home all of my life. I enjoy reading, cooking, and spending time with friends and family on the lake. I am also a lifelong learner who continues to enjoy learning and the pursuit of knowledge.
