Meet the Teacher

My name is Mrs. Katie England.  I am a proud graduate of Tennessee Tech University, having earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a focus on grades K – 6. I recently received my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU.  I am starting my  13th year teaching.  I have taught 3rd grade, 4th  and 5th grade.  I am excited to be back in 3rd grade this year, and I know we are going to have an excellent year!

When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with my husband, Brent, and my daughter, Ella.  We enjoy playing outside and doing lots of outdoor activities.  Some of my favorite things to do are spend time with family, swim, explore, camp, backpack, hike, read, and visit new places.
