Welcome to the NCE Library!
My name is Emma Lewis, and I am the librarian at North. I love helping students discover new books and develop a love for reading and learning. My goal is to make the library a fun, welcoming space where everyone feels excited to explore, discover, and grow. Beyond books, I enjoy family time with my husband John and our two little girls, Norah and Lainey.

I was born and raised in a very small town in Vermont. I moved to Middle Tennessee in January 2013 when I started college and then relocated to the Cumberland County area in January, 2024.

I am an MTSU alumna. I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Since joining the team at North, I returned to MTSU for a third time to pursue a master's program in Library Science and complete an additional certification in school librarianship."
