About Me

Hello, my name is Carrie Dukes and I've been teaching at Stone Elementary since 2002. I have known that I wanted to be a teacher from a very young age. My mother was a teacher at North Elementary and I loved watching her teach and interact with her students. I graduated from CCHS in 1997 then went on to Tennessee Technology University and graduated with my degree in Elementary Education. I was then hired by Janet Graham to work here at Stone Elementary as a 1st grade teacher and have been here ever since. I LOVE my job and most of all the students I work with. I am looking forward to meeting my new students and having a productive school year.
